STORY
Some love stories are torn from the pages of a fairy tale. Ours? Straight from a Match.com ad. We met on February 4th, 2010 at Tasting in the Conrad Lobby. 2,156 days later, we are getting married in the same hotel on New Years Eve, 2015.
OUR FIRST DATE
Our first date started on the streets of Indianapolis, meeting for the first time in front of TJ Maxx. Very public, just in case. We moved across the street to Tasting, the wine bar in the Conrad Hotel. We then moved to Barcelona Tapas for dinner. He, of course, watched the IU/PU game over her head, trying to not be too obvious. She, of course, pretended not to notice and ordered the wrong dessert.

It became official. Well, not that official, but official enough to show our friends.
THE DAY WE BECAME OFFICIAL
Really official. The Dave Mathews Band rolled into town and we splurged on pavilion tickets. The first time Carlee was introduced as "My Girlfriend"... To strangers... On accident... Fortunately, she smiled and by the end of the night, she was "My Girlfriend" on purpose.
OUR FIRST TRIP
The first trip of many, to Chicago over the July 4th Weekend. The taste of Chicago, some pictures by the Married with Children Fountain, a roof top bar, meeting non-immediate family for the first time, a Cubs game, dinner at Rosebud on Rush, fireworks that we somehow missed; we packed a lot of fun into one weekend.
WE'RE ENGAGED!
The proposal. Oh, the proposal. It was supposed to be romantic, on the beach at sunset... But it rained. Then, after dinner, with our toes dipped in the ocean... But crabs might bite. Then at the beautiful restaurant with a lovely dock overlooking the canal... But drinks at the bar proved too appealing. So on the last night of the trip, after an awkward stroll around the entire condo, it happened. Waves crashing, the moon shining, on the 20th floor balcony, we got engaged.
AND ON NEW YEARS EVE... WE ARE GETTING MARRIED
WHEN & WHERE
At approximently 7:30pm on New Years Eve, 2015, we will be married at the Conrad Indianapolis. And then we will dance. And drink. And celebrate, with friends and family.
CEREMONY
The ceremony will begin at 7:30pm at the Vienna Ballroom in the Conrad Indianapolis.
COCKTAIL HOUR & RECEPTION
A cocktail hour will commence immediately after the ceremony, with the full reception to follow. We will be dancing the night away and toasting to the New Year at midnight. The Conrad will host the entire wedding and ceremony, so plan a full night of fun.
